May 29, 2016 - Ames Parks Super Late Model in Podium Spot at Duck River
Following the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals series, Dylan Ames traveled to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday night for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Running into trouble in hot laps, Ames broke a drive shaft which caused more damage under the car bringing an early end to his night.

Getting the car fixed up, Dylan headed to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night for another Spring Nationals sanctioned event. Competing in a field of thirty-cars, Ames earned a 20th place starting spot for the feature via preliminary results. Improving six spots in the A-Main, Dylan Ames registered a 14th place outing.

Closing out the three-day Memorial weekend, Dylan Ames stopped at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Sunday for the $3,500-to-win unsanctioned event. Coming from the 3rd row of his feature, Ames advanced three spots in the feature notching a 3rd place finish.

May 21, 2016 - Dylan Ames Notches Runner-up Finish at Winchester
Dylan Ames headed to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the regular night of racing. Timing in second quick in a field of eleven, Ames earned the pole position starting spot after the fast qualifier decided on the high-side. Unable to take make any moves on the low-side, Ames recorded a runner-up finish behind David Brannon with Jerry Ashley, Andy Picklesimer, and Shannon Davis rounding out the top five.

May 14, 2016 - Ames Finishes 6th in Southern All Star Event at Senoia
Returning with the Southern All Star Series, Dylan Ames headed to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Billy Clanton Classic. With twenty-six cars signed in, Ames timed in fifth fastest earning him a 3rd row starting spot for the feature. Battling for a $5,025 payday, Dylan fell one spot recording a solid 6th place finish.
